This note speaks for itself. Take a good look at these scans and one can’t help being amazed at the clarity, exceptional detail, and dramatic impact of this offset. The smallest of details, including even the reverse plate #52, are sharply imprinted on the front of this note. It’s fair to say that a more striking Full Back to Face Offset does not exist on any other comparable high denomination. A truly fabulous error that to our eye seems conservatively graded at About New, ....but that’s really beside the point. Like a superb wine, the first taste will wow you, and the more you sample it the more you’ll appreciate the wonderful and varied multitude of undertones.

For those looking in Fred Bart’s book, this note is far superior in darkness and detail to the examples he cites. Any comparison is striking and illustrates how exceptional this note is.
