2004 $50 Federal Reserve Premium Set - #746A Only 500 Sets Issued
Sold!
With the total issue limited to only 500 sets, the 2004 $50 matching serial-numbered 12 note Premium Set is an extraordinary example of beauty and rarity. Each of the 12 notes in this set comes embossed with serial #00000746.
The only variable is the block letters which run from EA00000746A to EL00000746A. Please note that the ‘A’ suffix included on each of these notes represents, according to the Bureau of Engraving & Printing, the first notes printed for each of the 12 Districts.
The BEP uses the term ‘Premium Set’ to describe these, but in fact these are more like Presentation Sets that governments create as gifts for visiting dignitaries from other countries.
Sometimes we are too close to history or an event to see it for what it truly is. One day collectors will likely look back and marvel at these sets.
Fortunately, you need not wait for history to separate the extraordinary from the ordinary. Enjoy and treasure your own personal Presentation Set now. Others may prefer to wait for the crowd to define what is exceptional, but that’s probably not your style.
This set is completely original, including the original packaging with a small Post-It that indicates the set number and initials of the BEP staffer who assembled it.
Our inventory of these sets is very limited due to strong customer demand and difficulty finding fresh stock. With only 500 sets issued this should come as little surprise.
You have been duly notified,... the good ole’ days are fleeting.
