Amazing Set of FOUR Matching High-Numbered Radars - $1 97444479
Price: $395
Since the 1988 Series notes, the BEP (except for certain uncut sheets and the occasional Special Issue) has stopped printing $1, $2, $5, $10, and $20 notes above serial number 96,000,000.
As such, the supply of high-numbered radars is basically frozen and considered by certain astute collectors to be an under-appreciated niche.
Offered here is a rarely seen matching set of 4 high numbered radars with identical serial numbers.
The set includes:
1977A $1 C97444479C PCGS-66 PPQ
1981 $1 H9744479A PCGS-68 PPQ
1985 $1 D97444479C PCGS-66 PPQ
1985 $1 H97444479D PCGS-64 PPQ
Please note, the H97444479A is graded PCGS-68 PPQ and the C97444479C with matching block letters is a true radar. Mind you, the 1985 $1 D97444479C and H9744479D are no slouches either.
Until now, finding 4 matching high-grade, high-numbered radars such as this was considered next to impossible.
Be as it may, seeing is believing.
Enjoy the view, it may be a L-O-N-G time before you see another comparable set!
