2003A $1 J10101010B PCGS-68 PPQ - Ultimate $1 Repeater
Sold!
OMG!
No sense beating around the bush. When it comes to $1 Repeaters, a 10101010 on the 10th District represents one of just two scenarios in which the Serial Number and District are in perfect harmony.
The other scenario is the 12121212 on the 12th District. Technically equivalent, but not a Michael Jordan.
In all other cases of matching districts and serial numbers you are left with a solid, such as a 77777777 on the 7th District. (Not too shabby either.)
Of course, outstanding condition is the other critical factor in separating the privileged from the pedestrian.
This note triumphs in that area as well by combining the ultimate repeating serial number and district with a Superb Gem New PCGS-68 PPQ grade.
And so it is written, in the vast Land of $1 Repeaters this note rightfully lays claim to the title, King of Repeaters.
Yes, the same combination on a $10 would be even more desirable. If and when that surfaces on a 68 or higher grade, the crown should pass (hopefully without a major battle).
In the meantime, Long Live the King!
And yes, that deserves repeating.
(As you can see, we get a ‘little’ excited around royalty.)
