1999 $1 G88888888C PCGS-20 - Solid Eights
Sold!
Always a favorite among collectors and non-collectors alike, the Solid Eights is not only very aesthetically pleasing, but also represents good fortune in the Asian community.
This example was not so fortunate to have a teller stamp placed on the reverse of it (see scans). Fortunately, it barely diminishes the impact of this note. If you look at it from a positive perspective, the front of the note escaped unscathed. Overall the note itself is very clean for the grade and faces up exceptionally well.
This note has a lot to be thankful for and with its strong birth right and classic style it will fit right in with the finest of collectibles.
It’s your turn to get lucky! No need to spend the usual $2,000 to $3,000 to secure an Unc. version of the most coveted (besides the 99999999) Solid Serial Number printed by the BEP.
And lest we forget, a Solid Eights remains a 1 in 96,000,000 occurrence!
