For those of us who may not be familiar with all of the collecting vernacular, a Perfect Ladder Radar is so christened because:
1. Perfect refers to the Matching Block Letters (B-B).
2. Ladder refers to the consecutive descending (or ascending) serial numbers (6543).
3. Radar refers to a serial number in which the numbers read the same whether read from left to right or right to left (as with the letters in R-a-d-a-R).
As you can imagine, combine these three levels of scarcity and you end up with a relatively rare note. A perfect example of where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
And by the way, it is graded by PCGS a Superb Gem New 68 PPQ and is a $5 denomination to boot.
