This low-numbered matching set of $5 Star Notes was released by the BEP in July, 2001 and limited to only 5,000 sets. It is the ONLY matching star note set ever issued by the BEP that brings together identical serial numbers from different Series. (You don’t say?)
It is believed that these sets were issued beginning with serial # 00018001*. As such, it makes the 00018099* set offered here one of the lowest on record.
