1963A $2 A17871787A Repeater PMG-65 EPQ
Price: $750
Fancy-serial numbered $2 Red Seals are highly sought after. This one should prove no exception.
The fact that only 3,200,000 1963A $2 were printed, starting with Serial #15,360,001 and ending with #18,560,000, creates a relatively small pool of candidates to begin with. Low serial numbers are not an option, nor are ladders.
With a GEM-65 EPQ grade from PMG and rich color and wonderful embossing, this will be a welcome addition to the finest of $2 Red Seal collections.
From a historical perspective, the year 1787 represents a milestone in the course of human events. On September 17, 1787 the U.S. Constitution was adopted by the delegates to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia. In short order, Delaware (Dec. 7th), Pennsylvania (Dec 12th), and New Jersey (Dec 18th) proceeded to ratify the Constitution before 1787 came to a close.
Notes such as this are rarely found in today’s marketplace. Let alone in Gem condition.
