Here is a note that should have never been released. It’s as if the Parole Board got its records mixed-up and released a prisoner way before he was eligible.
ALL ‘A’ suffix notes below number 301 (CB00000245A for example) are normally NOT released into commerce. Somehow this note was able to escape and find its way into circulation. In the rare cases when this mix-up occurs, the notes are usually quickly spotted and never see circulation. For this note to have actually hit the streets before being ID’d is very unusual.
It grades About New due to counting marks on the left side of the note that are only evident when held up to the light. As the scans shows, it faces-up exceptionally well.
Suffice it to say, the knowledgeable collector will likely recognize the true rarity of this note and do the right thing… which is to get it off the streets and back where it belongs (housed in a collection notorious for selectivity).
