1999 $10 Cleveland Star Note - Special issue

Issued during the 2002 Holiday Season, this Special Issues was limited to an offering of only 4,000 notes.
It is worth pointing out that this $10 Cleveland District Special Issue shares the same serial number range as the 1999 $100 Boston Special Issue and (some of) the 1999 $5 Richmond Star Note Special Issue. In all three cases the star notes offered came from separate runs starting at 03200001*. Never publicized, but unlikely to be a coincidence, it raises the possibility that a 1999 star note set may have been under consideration by the BEP at one time.
Nonetheless, we are able to offer at this time two individual notes from this Special Issue. They are:

These are much tougher to find than the price may indicate and we’re confident they your selection will prove to be a most welcome addition to your BEP collection.
Please note: The BEP insignia covering the serial number is printed on the officially issued holder and not on the note itself.
