Limited to an offering of only 4,000 notes, this is the first and only time that the BEP made $100 Star Notes available directly to the public.
These notes, printed at the BEP facilitiy in Washington, DC, come exclusively from the November 2000 print run. That run begins with serial number BA03200001*.

In addition, this is an exceptionally low number for this Special Issue. Our records indicate the notes offered by the BEP were in many cases significantly higher, ranging upwards to at least BA03326867*
Each note is housed in a lovely folder that explains the history and purpose of Star Notes. Originally offered in the BEP’s 2002 Holiday Catalog, most of these are tucked away for the long-term.
The capstone of the BEP Star Note family, these $100s are sure to please the collector looking for beauty and exclusivity.
